Launch draft · legal review required. The operator must finalise this document, contact details, operational procedures, and applicable legal requirements before collecting production member data. This page does not certify compliance.
A free platform for useful connections
SEC helps people discover communities, learn, list professional services, post requirements, request bookings, share stories, and register for events. Membership, platform listings, applications, networking, and booking requests are free in this initial version. SEC does not collect service-provider payments or commissions.
These terms are a launch draft. The operator’s legal identity, address, effective date, appropriate dispute provisions, and complete contact details must be confirmed before public launch.
Accounts and eligibility
Membership is for adults aged 18 and over. Sign-in uses your mobile number and a one-time verification code. Keep access to that number and your sign-in codes secure, provide accurate information, and use only an account you are authorised to operate. An agency or business representative must have authority to provide that organisation’s details.
One account may have several ordinary roles. Community leadership, mentoring assignments, moderation, and administration are granted through an authorised review process. Do not attempt to access another person’s private records or bypass access controls.
Applications, publication, and moderation
An application does not guarantee acceptance. Communities, professional listings, opportunities, stories, and leadership applications may be reviewed, declined, waitlisted, or removed according to their purpose and the community guidelines. You can follow supported workflow status in your dashboard.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your content and for having permission to publish names, media, portfolio work, logos, and testimonials. Only describe an SEC founding, support, or partnership relationship if it is accurate and can be reviewed. Do not fabricate reviews, professional credentials, verified status, outcomes, or availability.
You retain your rights in your submitted work. By submitting material for publication, you permit SEC to store, display, and format that material as needed to operate the feature, subject to your publication consent and the privacy notice. Third-party material requires the relevant owner’s permission.
Professional requests and project agreements
A booking request is an invitation to discuss a project, not an automatically confirmed engagement. Participants must agree scope, deliverables, timelines, revisions, pricing, expenses, cancellation terms, ownership, and any payment arrangements directly. A proposal or counter-proposal must be accepted through the applicable workflow before it is treated as confirmed.
SEC is not the provider of member-listed professional services. Users must make their own assessment of suitability and conduct appropriate checks before engaging someone. Any verification badge refers only to the particular review completed by SEC and is not a guarantee of skill or results.
Neither participant should begin work on the assumption that a request guarantees compensation. Do not send payment-card information through SEC forms. Share direct contact details only where both participants agree.
Learning, mentorship, and business support
Learning resources and community guidance are educational. They do not replace personalised legal, tax, financial, regulatory, or other qualified professional advice. SEC does not promise funding, loans, returns, customers, revenue, or a particular business outcome.
Support availability depends on the team and relevant expertise. Keep confidential information limited to what the assigned team needs, and do not upload third-party confidential materials without permission.
Events
An event registration can be confirmed or waitlisted depending on the event’s capacity and rules. Check the registration status in your dashboard. An illustrative preview event is not scheduled and cannot be registered for.
Organisers may need to change the time, venue, capacity, or format. Published updates should be communicated to registered participants through supported channels. Respect venue rules, accessibility needs, and consent for photography. Use the available cancellation action if you cannot attend.
Respectful and lawful use
Do not use the platform for harassment, discrimination, impersonation, fraud, spam, unlawful activity, infringement, malicious uploads, scraping private information, or misleading commercial claims. Respect members’ privacy and do not add them to groups or mailing lists without permission.
Report concerns using the reporting tool on a published listing or the contact form. Authorised reviewers may restrict content or accounts while investigating. A person affected by moderation can request a review through the contact form, explaining the relevant decision.
Availability, responsibility, and changes
Features depend on configured external services and may be unavailable during maintenance or failure. The platform should clearly show when an operation has not been saved. Keep your own copies of essential project agreements and business records.
Participants remain responsible for their own work and interactions. Nothing in this draft is intended to exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation of liability, governing law, or dispute-resolution terms must be settled by the operator with qualified legal advice before launch.
Material changes to these terms should be dated and communicated. You may request account deletion through your account settings or contact the team as described in the privacy notice.
